# Verify Host Name Ownership with a TXT Record

When you create a zone and after you upload a custom host name certificate, you’re now required to verify ownership using a TXT record. The verification record is displayed in Business Manager after uploading the certificate. You create a TXT record in your DNS portal.

How: In Business Manager, go to **Administration** | **Embedded CDN Settings** and use the zone creation workflow and your DNS portal to generate the TXT record and verify the host name.
