Note Find Bug Fix Information in Salesforce Known Issues

Information about customer-reported issues and notifications about bug fixes is now published in Salesforce Known Issues. The B2C Commerce Release Notes continue to provide information about new features and major feature enhancements.

  • Get Accurate Allocation Amounts with a Null Allocation Payload
PATCH and PUT /product_inventory_records/{product_id} now supports a null allocation payload while keeping accurate account of product allocation amounts and allocation reset date. Previously, sending a Patch or Put call to set a custom inventory record attribute using a null allocation payload resulted in an invalid reset date.
  • Support for Correct Ad Attribution
B2C Commerce now sends FPC and FBP cookie Ids in the server-side purchase event to Facebook. This enhancement supports deduplication of purchase events and enables correct Facebook ad attribution. Facebook ad attribution enables you to measure and understand the impact of your ads across multiple publishers, channels, and devices.
  • Improve Readability for Exported Custom Attributes of Type Number
Custom attributes of type number are exported to a xsd:double compatible format for XML exports. To better support use cases where xsd:decimal is assumed, B2C Commerce now exports values that are also compatible to xsd:decimal. This change supports a well-defined range of numbers that don’t need scientific notation. In terms of persistency/database the supported values are zero, as well as positive and negative fixed numbers with absolute values from 1.0E-130 to but don’t include 1.0E126. NaN, Infinity, and -Infinity aren’t supported.
  • Prevent Scheduled Instance Backups on Production and Development Instances
Scheduled instance backups are available only for staging instances. Existing configurations on PRD and DEV have been removed and a new custom job is now available for each configuration.
