- **[Get More Functionality with OCAPI 22.4](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.ocapi224_release_w10695074_mc.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    With the release of OCAPI 22.4, new functionality has been added to some Data and Shop APIs. You can now search and sort `creation_date` and `lastmodified_date` in more Data API searches. In Shop API, use the new `guest` flag for the Order response document to determine whether the order was created by a guest or a registered customer.
- **[Merge Variation Group Results](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rn_b2c_enable_additional_variation_group_display_settings_je.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    Use the new merge global display setting in Business Manager to group the results of product variations and search hits as a single product hit. The setting applies to the site search and category level, including category fallback.
- **[Limit Source Code Group ID Characters](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rn_b2c_source_code_group_id_character_limit_je.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    Source code group IDs are now limited to 28 ASCII characters. The limit applies to source codes defined using the Business Manager Source Code Creation page and through import. If a source code exceeds 28 ASCII characters, an error message states the character limit. Previously, source code IDs that exceeded 28 ASCII characters were truncated.
- **[OCAPI Caching on eCDN](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.ocapi_caching_on_ecdn_jemc.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    OCAPI caching is now supported on eCDN for the `GET products` API. OCAPI caching decreases the load of API requests to the origin, and improves the API response time by 50% or more - improving performance and load times.
