- Manage High Scale Price Books Better with Delete-All Mode
To quickly clean up old prices in your system, you can now use delete-all mode when importing read-only price books. - Get Runtime Insights for OCAPI 21.8 Requests
The new OCAPI Data API/metrics/{apitype}?offset={Integer}&limit={Integer}provides insight into runtimes of individual OCAPI requests against the Shop or the Data API. The metrics resource responses are JSON-wrapped metrics in Prometheus Exposition format. - Unified Authentication is Mandatory for Business Manager
With the 21.8 Release, all Business Manager instances migrate to the Unified Authentication Mandatory security stage. - Selective Origin Shielding
To restrict access to PODs not originating from the Commerce Cloud content delivery network (eCDN) and increase site security and availability, we’re implementing selective origin shielding (SOS). SOS prevents bots from accessing the origin outside the eCDN. - Expiring API Access Token Notification
If you use API access tokens, you now receive email notification of their pending expiration. - Define An SMTP Server For Customer and Platform Email Delivery
With the 21.8 Release, you can now use a third-party mail server to send emails from Commerce Cloud to your shoppers and site administrators.
