- Archive Long File Names During System Import Jobs
The system import job steps can create long file names that exceed some file system length limits, which caused problems when archiving files. You can now use Archive in Subfolders mode or Archive Overwrite Existing mode during system import jobs. - Selective Origin Shielding
To restrict access to PODs not originating from the Commerce Cloud content delivery network (eCDN) and increase site security and availability, we’re implementing selective origin shielding (SOS). SOS prevents bots from accessing the origin outside the eCDN. - Avoid Invalid Characters in Cookie Names
Starting with compatibility mode 21.7, using invalid characters in a cookie name causesdw.web.Cookieto throw an exception. - Get the Active Inventory Integration Mode
When code depends on whether B2C Commerce is integrated with Omnichannel Inventory, use the newdw.catalog.ProductInventoryMgr.getInventoryIntegrationMode()Script API method to get the active inventory integration mode. It returns a constant defined in theProductInventoryMgrclass. - Automate Pricing and Promotion Assignments with Jobs
Admins can now automate price book and promotion store assignments using job steps during the import and export process. All assignments in the system are exported when using the jobs framework. - Change Inventory Allocation with dw.catalog.ProductInventoryRecord
With compatibility mode 21.7, you can change inventory allocation and prevent undesired allocation changes during storefront and shopper calls.
