Custom attributes of type number are exported to a xsd:double compatible format for XML exports. To better support use cases where xsd:decimal is assumed, B2C Commerce now exports values that are
also compatible to xsd:decimal. This change supports a
well-defined range of numbers that don’t need scientific notation. In terms of
persistency/database the supported values are zero, as well as positive and negative fixed numbers
with absolute values from 1.0E-130 to but don’t include 1.0E126. NaN, Infinity, and -Infinity
aren’t supported.
Note Numbers are exported using scientific notification when the absolute value of the number is
lower than 0.1⁶ or greater or equal to 10²¹.
