# Use Commerce Data in Tableau

Use the Tableau for Commerce Web Data Connector to import your commerce data into Tableau.

With access to your commerce data in Tableau, you can build your own custom data analysis.

Where: Data extraction is only available for production instances of B2C Commerce.

When: Generally available in October 2021.

Why: With the Tableau for Commerce web data connector, you can import your Commerce data into Tableau and create custom insights. For example, create a view of analytics for your entire business in single dashboard.

How: To connect your Commerce Cloud data to Tableau, launch a Web Data Connector in Tableau, and connect to [https://ccac.analytics.demandware.com/twdc/](https://ccac.analytics.demandware.com/twdc/). When connected, you can query your commerce data from B2C Commerce subject areas including:

- Promotion
- Sales and Products
- Search
- Technical
- Visits
