# Salesforce Payments Licenses for Commerce and Pay Now

You can use Salesforce Payments and Pay Now independently or in conjunction with Salesforce Commerce. Choose a license based on the features you need, and whether you want only payment processing or a comprehensive checkout experience.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;"><a href="https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.payments_editions.htm&amp;language=en_US" target="_blank">View supported editions</a>.</td></tr></tbody></table>

The license options are:

- Salesforce Payments standalone license—You can purchase a Salesforce Payments license to accept payments using Pay Now without having a Commerce license. The Salesforce Payments license is available from the self-service Your Account app.
- Salesforce Payments + Commerce license—To gain a comprehensive Commerce checkout experience, you can purchase Payments together with one of the Commerce licenses: B2B, D2C, Connected Commerce, or Order Management.

This table lists the features included with the different license offerings.
