# Verify Google Pay Setup for Use with Payments

To make sure customers can select Google Pay at checkout, add it as a payment method when you set up a merchant account.

Confirm you added Google Pay by checking the merchant account’s payment method set. From the Payments app, choose **Settings** to view all merchant accounts. Open a merchant account record, and on the Related tab, view the sets in the Payment Method Sets section.

To test that Google Pay is rendering in a browser, make sure these Stripe-defined requirements are met.

- Use Google Chrome on a device that supports Google Pay.
- Save a card in your Google wallet.
- Use an HTTPS URL.
- Enable the Google Chrome setting Allow sites to check if you have payment methods saved.
- Don't use an incognito window.
