# Location Group Fields

The Location Group object represents a group of inventory locations. You can define location groups according to the logic of your business needs. For example, a location group can represent the warehouses in a geographic region, or it can include the fulfillment centers associated with a particular online storefront.

### Required Editions

This table lists the fields on the Location Group object.

 
| Field Label | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Created By | The user who created the location group record. |
| Created Date | The date when the location group record was created. |
| Description | The description of the location group. |
| Enabled | Indicates whether the location group is available to fulfill orders. This option is selected by default. |
| External Reference | The ID of the location group. When Omnichannel Inventory is integrated with B2C Commerce, this value associates the location group with an inventory list in B2C Commerce. This value must match the inventory list ID in B2C Commerce. |
| Last Modified By | The user who last changed the location group record. |
| Last Modified Date | The date when the location group record was last changed. |
| Location Group | The name of the location group. |
| Location Group Number | The name of the location group. |
| Owner Name | The owner of the location group. |
| Sync with OCI | Indicates whether to synchronize location group data with the Omnichannel Inventory service. |
