See all steps in [Order on Behalf Of Setup](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.om_order_on_behalf_of_setup_oobo.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "After you’ve installed and configured either an Order Management or B2B Commerce org or B2C Commerce instance, there are some Order on Behalf Of (OOBO) specific steps to take. Many of these tasks are the same whether you’re using Order Entry or OOBO. However, there are a few steps that are specific to the individual products. Complete the steps for your product and organization.").

1. Set up an inventory source to enable reservations. Reservations reduce out of stock errors by placing a reservation on a product in a cart.
2. Configure user permissions. Users need either the System Administrator profile or the Identity User profile. You can use a provided permission set as is or clone and customize it.

    1. Go to Setup.
    2. In the Quick Find box, find and select **Permission Sets**.
    3. Select a permission set.

    | Permission Set | Description |
    | --- | --- |
    | Order on Behalf Of Agent Permission Set | Lets a user create an order for a customer using Order Entry. |
    | Order on Behalf Of Manager Permission Set | Lets a user configure Order Entry and create an order for a customer using Order Entry. |
    | Order Management Agent | Lets a user create an order for a customer using OOBO. |
    | Order Management Operations Manager | Lets a user configure OOBO and create an order for a customer using OOBO. |
3. Enable Optional Price Books. If you ran the Commerce Setup Assistant, this is already done. Otherwise, see the Order Management section of the [Commerce Setup](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.comm_csa_automations_features.htm&language=en_US).
