# Alternative Payment Method Fields

The Alternative Payment Method object represents a payment method that doesn’t have a defined Commerce Orders object, such as Card Payment Method or Digital Wallet.

### Required Editions

                <li>Canceled - The payment platform can’t use the payment method to make payments. A value
                  of Canceled can’t be changed to Active or Inactive.</li>
                <li>InActive - The payment platform can’t use the payment method to make payments. A value
                  of InActive can be changed to Active or Canceled.</li>
