OCAPI caching is now supported on eCDN for the GET
products API. OCAPI caching decreases the load of API requests to the origin, and
improves the API response time by 50% or more - improving performance and load
times.
When: OCAPI caching enablement begins in early April 2022.
How: To see cached responses, set up cache-controls. If you’ve already set up a cache-control
header for OCAPI GET products calls, no additional
changes are needed. To clear cache, use the CDN-API.
Note Caching supports customers using the client ID format,
x-dw-client-id. OCAPI calls that use an authentication header, are excluded from
