# Deploy PWA Kit Storefronts with the Managed Runtime (Generally Available)

The Managed Runtime deploys and operates PWA Kit storefronts so that front-end teams don’t have to worry about the operational cost and complexity of running mission-critical, highly scalable infrastructure. Set up single sign-on for authentication and authorization. Manage project users and permissions, auto-scale environments to handle traffic spikes, and protect against denial-of-service attacks.

**Where:** Available to all Salesforce B2C Commerce customers.

**When:** September 2021

**How:** Users must have either the Commerce Runtime Manager User or Commerce Runtime Manager Admin role in Account Manager. To get started, see the documentation on the [Salesforce Developers](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/commerce/pwa-kit-managed-runtime/guide) site.

The monitored quota is 200 million page views per year across all projects on the Managed Runtime. You can have up to 100 active environments. To request more than 100 environments, contact support.

The underlying APIs don’t allow public clients, like PWA Kit, to reset passwords and look up orders for guest shoppers. Projects must use a custom API to handle guest password reset verification logic and email sending and guest order lookup.
