You can make an item ineligible to ship from a specific location but make it available for in-store pickup. This feature provides merchants more flexibility with how and from where an order is fulfilled.

Use this feature to:
- Prevent an item (SKU) from being shipped from a location, even if it’s stocked.
- Prevent an item at a location from being included in the inventory of a shopping channel.
- Allow the same item to continue to be sold or fulfilled via in-store pickup.
- Allow the same item to continue to be available in a shopping channel if eligible to be fulfilled from other locations.
Configure the Omnichannel Inventory Impex API endpoint to control which SKUs are eligible for shipping from a particular location. Use the groupEligibilityExclusion attribute to define which groups the SKU is excluded from. The inventory counts at that location aren’t shown in the associated location groups. This action ensures the group doesn’t include inventory for the associated SKU and location in the record. It also ensures Order Management routing flows ignore the SKU and location in the record when making routing decisions.
To have SKUs with shipping eligibility settings appear in search and product list page results, use B2C Business Manager to configure when and how products are displayed. See Show Orderable Products Only.
