Add a Location Group

Add a location group to aggregate inventory availability across multiple locations.

Required Editions

  1. From the Navigation bar, open the Location Groups list view page.
  2. Click New.
  3. Complete the fields on the New Location Group page.
    1. For External Reference, enter a unique identifier for the location group. If you’re using B2C Commerce, this value matches the ID of the Inventory List on your B2C Commerce storefront.
    2. To include the location group when you commit changes to Omnichannel Inventory, select Sync with OCI.
    3. To enable the location group for Omnichannel Inventory, select Enabled.
  4. Save your entries.
  5. Commit your changes.
Important
Important Don’t upload inventory availability data while committed changes are pending. Before uploading availability data, verify that no location group changes are in progress by checking the async operation logs.
