When you announce a promotion or price reduction, a European Union (EU) mandate
requires that stores must show the lowest price for a product over the past 30 days. If the
original price is displayed and is greater than the list price, the lowest list price also
displays. B2B stores must show the lowest price and any price adjustments for guest users but don’t need to show it for
logged-in users. For new stores, the Lowest List Price component is included on the Product
Details page. For existing stores, you must add the component to the page. After this feature is
enabled, you can’t disable it.

Which
Salesforce Commerce Product Do I Have?
This rule doesn’t apply to:
- Goods with a short shelf life, such as dairy items.
- Free products or similar promotions, such as buy 2, get 3.
- Users logged in to D2C stores. However, it does apply to guest users.
Deleting a price book or price book entry resets the lowest list price. Manually updating
the lowest list price isn’t recommended because it can cause an incorrect value for the
lowest unit price and then the store isn’t in compliance with the mandate.
