# How Behaviors Are Controlled

Each product in your B2B Commerce store is a record of the Product2 object. Use the Product2 object fields to control the behavior of sort, search, facet, and display. All Product2 standard fields are available to all products in your store. If you add custom fields to the Product2 object, those fields are also available to all store products.

| Facet behavior | Whether you can use a field as a search filter |
| Display behavior | Whether you can show or hide a field |
