When a rep invites a contact to a reorder portal, the action creates order summary records for the context order and the past year of order records associated with the contact. Make sure that both the sales rep and reorder portal buyer have read access to these order summary records.

Which Salesforce Commerce Product Do I Have?
By default, the Commerce Reorder Portal Inviter license provides read access to order summaries. However, certain licensing and CRUD permission configurations require additional setup.
Reorder Portal Buyer
The default sharing settings for a reorder portal buyer depend on the buyer’s license type and the external sharing settings for order summaries.
- If the buyer has a Customer Community Plus license, they receive read access to order summary records, and no action is needed.
- If the buyer doesn’t have a Customer Community Plus license and external sharing settings for order summaries are private, create a sharing set using the B2B Reordering Portal Buyer Profile and OrderSummary entity. See Create a Sharing Set. When defining sharing criteria, provide Read Only access if User.Contact equals OrderSummary.OriginalOrder.CustomerAuthorizedBy.
- If the buyer doesn’t have a Customer Community Plus license, external sharing settings for order summaries are Controlled by Parent, and external sharing settings for orders are private, create a sharing set. Use the B2B Reordering Portal Buyer Profile and Order entity. When defining sharing criteria, provide Read Only access if User.Contact equals Order.CustomerAuthorizedBy, Order.Contract.CustomerSigned, or Order.Quote.Contact.
Sales Rep
The default sharing settings for a sales rep depend on the rep’s access to orders and the internal sharing settings for order summaries.
- If the rep owns the context order, they receive read access to the order summary records, and no action is needed.
- If the rep doesn’t own the context order and internal sharing settings for order summaries are private, grant them read access to order summaries. Use Sharing Settings, Sharing Rules, or Manual Shares.
- If the rep doesn’t own the context order, internal sharing settings for order summaries are Controlled by Parent, and internal sharing settings for orders are private, grant them read access to orders. Use Sharing Settings, Sharing Rules, or Manual Shares.
