Create a Coupon for a B2B Store from Within the Guided Workflow

Create coupons that customers can redeem. The coupon has the same discount and qualifier rules as the promotion that it’s associated with.

Required Editions

  1. In the promotion’s guided workflow, next to the coupon section, click Add.
  2. Enter a coupon code. This code is what customers use to redeem the promotion.
A customer can add up to five coupons per cart.
  3. (Optional) Enter a description that customers don’t see.
  4. Use the Status dropdown to set the coupon as active or inactive.
  5. (Optional) Enter a redemption limit per buyer or the maximum number of uses across all buyers up to 1000 for both fields. You can apply both conditions.
When the coupon meets your specified limit, it’s no longer valid.
After you create the coupon, you can’t decrease the redemption limit. If you create the coupon without a limit, any change to the redemption limit is considered a decrease. To change the limit, delete and recreate the coupon.
  6. (Optional) Enter the start and end dates.
  7. Save your changes.
