You can also bulk import multiple products in the store. See [Import Data Globally Using a CSV File](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.comm_import_products_global.htm&language=en_US).

If you want to create a digital product that is excluded from shipping charge calculations, a System Admin must first enable access to the Shipping Charge Not Applicable field on the Product object and also add the field to the Product page layout. See [Configure Your B2B Commerce Org to Support Digital Products](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.comm_configure_org_for_digital_products.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Add digital products to your store, such as downloadable cookbooks, e-books, music files, or software. To do this, you must configure the page layout for the Product object to include the Shipping Charge Not Applicable field.").

1. In the navigation sidebar, select a store from the **Store** dropdown.
2. Select **Merchandising** | **Products**.
3. Click **New**.

To edit the displayed product fields, customize the Product Detail components on the Product page in Experience Builder.
4. Enter the product name and other optional details.

Adding a product description helps customers understand the product.
5. To make the product available in your store, select **Active**.
6. To configure this product as a digital product to be excluded from shipping calculations, select the **Shipping Charge Not Applicable** checkbox.
7. (Optional) Enter the pricing information.

To highlight a discount, you can show a strikethrough price next to the selling price. The strikethrough price is the product’s original price or manufacturer’s suggested retail price.
8. To add images or videos to the product, complete the media fields.

You can upload media directly, select them from your CMS workspace, or add them from hosting sites or cloud storage by using a URL. Only users assigned as workspace contributors can access the CMS workspace media.

Drag and drop media to arrange them in the order in which you want them to appear on the product detail page.
9. To set a hover image, use the image options on any product image and click **Set As Hover Image**. This image appears when a shopper hovers over the main product image on a product listing page, such as search results.

To enable rollover images, in Experience Builder, select the Product Card component. Then, under Product Information Settings, set Image Hover Action to Image Rollover.
10. To show a unique product image in product listing pages such as search results or the cart, select **Use a unique image for list view**. The list image isn’t visible in the live preview.
11. Enter up to five existing or new product categories.
12. If the product has variations, select **This product has variations** and add the variation details.

Select or create an attribute or attribute set. After you save the variations, you can’t remove them, but you can deactivate them.
13. Click **Save**, or to continue adding products, click **Save & New**.

After you save your product, go to the product record page to assign additional details, such as variations, localization, and SEO information, or add it to multiple markets. To make a product discoverable in a search, mark it as searchable.

The first category that a product is associated with is the product’s primary category and becomes the basis of the breadcrumb order. You can customize the default order of breadcrumbs by explicitly identifying categories as primary. When you identify a category as primary, your store uses it to construct the category path that populates the breadcrumbs on the Product Detail page. You can associate a product with multiple categories, but it can have only one primary category.")
