# Considerations for Pricing Procedure Plans

Review these considerations when working with pricing procedure plans in your B2B store.

- Use pricing procedure plans only for standard products. Pricing procedure plans don't support the request quote feature.
- Unassign a procedure plan from the store before deactivating it.
- To avoid disruptions, make and test procedure plan changes in a lower environment before moving them to production.
- Make sure that your Apex code includes timeout and exception handling, as any failure during execution results in a pricing failure.
- Optimize your Apex code for performance, as execution introduces performance overhead.
