# High Order Volume for B2B Stores

Starting in Summer ’24, the High Scale Orders feature is enabled by default during checkout for new B2B and B2C stores created with the LWR template. However, some initial setup is needed to ensure that the High Scale Orders feature is fully enabled. In addition, developers must understand how this feature can affect their Apex code. The High Scale Orders feature isn’t supported for B2B Commerce Aura stores.

[Which Salesforce Commerce Product Do I Have?](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.comm_what_product.htm&language=en_US)

- **[Enable High Scale Orders for B2B Stores](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.comm_high_scale_order_enable.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Starting in Summer ’24, if you use the Commerce Setup Assistant to set up a new B2B or D2C store created with the LWR template, high-scale order ingestion (HSOI) is enabled by default. For existing stores, you can manually enable HSOI by enabling Enhanced Commerce Orders.
- **[Prevent Duplicate Person Accounts for High Scale Orders in a B2B Store](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.comm_high_scale_order_dedup_rule.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Starting in Summer ’24, the High Scale Orders feature requires a Person Account duplicate rule for guest users. This duplicate rule is required for B2B stores created with the LWR template. When a guest user places an order, the rule determines whether a Person Account record exists for the guest user. If a matching record exists, the system uses the record. Otherwise, the system creates a record for the guest user. If you don’t create a Person Account duplicate rule, the system creates a Person Account record for every order by every guest user, potentially resulting in a large number of duplicate records.
- **[Ensure Apex Code Works with High Scale Orders for a B2B Store](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.comm_high_scale_order_developer_considerations.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
If you extended the Commerce\_Domain\_Checkout\_CreateOrder extension point before Summer ’24, it’s possible that your Apex code doesn’t work correctly with the High Scale Orders feature enabled. You must test your existing code to make sure that it works as expected, modifying it as needed. Also, consider how the High Scale Orders feature in general can affect your Apex code.
