# Add a Third-Party Payments Service for Custom Checkout

For a B2B store using custom checkout, instead of using Salesforce’s native payment service, you can use a third-party gateway adapter to integrate with your store's checkout process.

1. In the navigation sidebar, select a store from the **Store** dropdown.
2. Click **Settings** | **Checkout**, and then click the **Payments** tab.
3. On the Alternate Provider tile, click **Select Provider**, and choose a gateway provider from a third-party package. If no adapter is listed, get one from AppExchange. See [Extend Your Org with AppExchange Packages](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.distribution_installed_packages.htm&language=en_US). Check the listings for a package that supports a B2B store. Alternatively, create one.
