# Import Using Data Loader

We recommend that you use the CSV data import file to import data into the Commerce app. The commerce import file maintains the correct relationships between commerce objects and supports importing up to 10,000 products with nine images each, along with the required updates to records in related objects. Typically, more than 50,000 updates are required to related objects for 10,000 imported commerce products. However, if you want to bulk import more than 10,000 products with nine images each, you can use the Salesforce Data Loader tool.

If you use Data Loader, you must explicitly maintain the correct relationship between objects. You can use Schema Builder to discover how objects are related. For information about how to use Schema Builder, see [Work with Schema Builder](https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/data_modeling/schema_builder).

For information about using Data Loader, see [Data Loader](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.dataLoader.meta/dataLoader/data_loader.htm).
