Product images and attachments that customers see when visiting your store are typically linked to a Salesforce CMS workspace. Usually the images are stored on a host external to Salesforce. You can configure the external host as a trusted site for your org. If you don’t have a CMS workspace, create one before beginning the import.
Which Salesforce Commerce Product Do I Have?
When you create a store, the creation process creates a CMS workspace for the store and a public channel to the workspace. To use content in the store from another workspace, add the store's public channel to that workspace. See Add a Channel to a CMS Workspace. The content from all workspaces assigned to the store's public channel is available to the store.
Stores based on the LWR platform created in orgs provisioned with Commerce in Summer '23 or later have a public channel to an enhanced CMS workspace. To allow those stores to also access media stored in a non-enhanced workspace, add the store's public channel to the non-enhanced workspace. You can upgrade a store built on a nonenhanced LWR site to use an enhanced LWR site to take advantage of enhanced CMS workspaces. See Upgrade to Enhanced LWR Sites.
- Add Your External Image Host as a Trusted Site
So that your B2B stores can access your product images, add the external host where those images are stored as a Trusted URL. - Create a CMS Workspace to Import Images to a Commerce Store
When you use a CSV file to import images, you must specify a CMS workspace where the imported images are linked. If you don’t have a CMS workspace, create one before you begin the import process.
