Enable Advanced Carts for B2B Buyers

Configure your store to allow buyers to organize their purchases into independent project-based carts. After the advanced cart feature is enabled in your store, use Experience Builder to add advanced cart management components to your store.

1. In the navigation sidebar, select a store from the Store dropdown.
2. Click Experience Builder.
3. Create a saved cart and customize the Product page to show a list of saved carts.
   1. In Experience Builder, from the Pages list, open the Product page.
   2. Select the Product Detail Purchase Options component on the page.

      If the component isn’t added to the page, drag the component from the Components list.

   3. Click the component and from the component property panel, expand Multiple Carts, and select Show Add to a Saved Cart.

      This selection enables buyers to create saved carts and add items to a specific saved cart from the Product Detail Page.

4. Customize the site to view a list of saved carts and go to any cart from the header.
   1. In Experience Builder, from the components panel of the Product page, if the component isn't added, drag the Cart Menu component to the header of the page.
   2. Click the component and select Show number of items in cart.
   3. From the dropdown list, select whether you want to show the count of items in each cart or the number of unique products in each cart.
   4. Expand Mini Cart, and deselect Enable Mini Cart.
   5. Expand Multiple Carts, and select Show Cart Dropdown.

      This component shows the default cart and four most recently modified saved carts.

   6. Repeat the steps for the Checkout and My Profile pages.
5. Manage the saved carts and select a saved cart as default.
   1. From the Pages list, select the Cart List page.
   2. If not already added, from the components panel, drag the Cart Container component into the page.

      This component provides the interface for buyers to view their carts, create a cart, edit the cart name and description, set a saved cart as default for the checkout, and delete a saved cart. Also, this component provides the options to import, export, set or remove a cart as the default cart, share a cart, and convert a cart into quote.

      

      Note The Cart List page has two versions of the Cart Container component. One component is for stores where cart sharing is enabled and the other is for stores without cart sharing. Customizations applied to one component don't apply to the other. Add the version that matches your store's configuration.
6. View and modify the details of each saved cart.
   1. From the Pages list, open the Cart page.
   2. If not already added, from the components panel, drag the Cart Detail component into the page. For carts created before Winter ’27, remove the existing component with the Cart Detail component. If you previously added the Cart component to the Cart page, remove the component.
   3. For carts created before Winter ’27, click the Section wrapper, change the Max Content Width to 1600 px and change the Column Distribution from 7:1:4 to 8:1:3.
7. Preview the site as a buyer to ensure your store correctly shows the saved carts.
8. Publish your store.
