Subscription amendments, renewals, and cancellations take effect at different times, and are
distinctly represented within the history.
- Amend. If a buyer amends a subscription to increase the quantity of units in the
subscription, then the amended subscription can take effect as early as the next day,
depending on the date selected by the buyer. However, if a buyer amends a subscription to
decrease the quantity of units in the subscription, then the amended subscription takes
effect on the next billing date.
- Renew. When a buyer renews their subscription, the renewal takes effect on the day
after the current subscription expires.
- Cancel. When a buyer cancels their subscription, the subscription is canceled on
the next billing date. You can’t refund a subscription.
