Add topics to define what you want Merchandising Agent‌ to do. The promotions topic helps you craft promotions that meet your business needs. The business insights topic retrieves helpful insights into your store.

Each topic encompasses a unique set of abilities that allows the agent to address various needs within that area effectively.

1. At the top of the page, click ![Setup icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-commerce-comm-264-0-0-production-enus/d863e308-482a-4dfa-8d20-2a94737d394a/comm/images/comm_setup_icon_no_border.png) and select **Setup**.
2. In the Quick Find box, enter `Agentforce Agents`, and then select **Agentforce Agents**.
3. Click **Enable the Agentforce (Default) Agent** if it isn't already enabled.
4. Click the Agentforce (Default) agent.
5. On the Agent Details page, click **Open in Builder**.
6. In the Topics component, click **New** | **Add From Asset Library**. If the dropdown is disabled, deactivate the agent and try again.
7. Select one or both of these topics.
    - To create promotions and access templates, select **Commerce Promotions**.
    - To get recommendations to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) based on your store’s data, select **Insights Business Objectives**.
8. Click **Finish**.
