# Automatically Recover Inventory Availability After an Interruption

Omnichannel Inventory now triggers a recovery when a data stream interruption is detected, thus preventing gaps in availability updates. The recovery uses one of the two simultaneous export slots. If you use custom processes for full Omnichannel Inventory availability exports, review potential resource contention.

**Where:** This change applies to B2C Commerce where the Omnichannel Inventory is enabled.
