# Set Authorization Methods for Password-Protected Storefronts

Business Manager administrators now have more options for managing access to a password-protected storefront. Administrators can select, the authentication method that’s best suited for their storefront.

**How:** In Business Manager, select **Apps** | **Administration** | **Sites** | **manage Sites** | **SiteName** | **Site Status**. When **Select the Site Status** is set to Online (Protected), these authentication options are available:

- **Access using shared password**: Protect your storefront with a shareable password and user name.
- **Access using users password or access key**: Business Manager users with the functional permission `Access_Protected_Storefront` can use their credentials to log onto the Storefront.
- **Access using Storefront Toolkit**: Business Manager users with the functional permission `Access_Protected_Storefront` can use the Storefront Toolkit to access the storefront, without providing credentials.
- **Access using Storefront Toolkit without functional permission**: All Business Manager users can use the Storefront Toolkit to access the storefront, without providing credentials.

If the Storefront Preview doesn’t work with the new Storefront Toolkit, you can give Business Manager users permission to open a preview directly in the storefront. To do this, update the Organisation Profile or My Profile settings.

In Business Manager, select **Apps** | **Administration** | **Organization** | **Organization Profile** | **Default mode for all preview links**

- **Open in Storefront Toolkit**: opens storefront preview in new Storefront Toolkit
- **Open Direct on Storefront**: opens preview directly in storefront

Under User Profile, select **My Profile** | **Preview Link Mode**

- **Organisation Default**: uses the default value from the Organisation Profile
- **Open in Storefront Toolkit**: opens storefront preview in new Storefront Toolkit
- **Open Direct Link in Storefront**: opens preview directly in storefront
