Configure how long Page Designer fingerprints are cached by setting the Time to Live (TTL) value. This enhancement enables fingerprint caching for pages and components with schedule-based and locale targeting visibility rules. A Page Designer fingerprint identifies which version of a page to display based on its visibility rules and targeting configuration.
Page Designer fingerprint caching behavior varies based on the type of visibility rules configured on pages and components:
- Pages without visibility rules: Fingerprints are cached for the full TTL duration without modification.
- Pages with schedule-based or locale targeting visibility rules: Fingerprint caching time is shortened if schedules or locales indicate an earlier content update.
- Pages with campaign qualifiers or customer groups: Fingerprints are not cached.
Caching performance can be tracked in Reports & Dashboards. To implement tracking and control what data appears in Reports & Dashboards, developers can use the following controllers :
__SYSTEM__Page-Include(relevant for DWScript based implementations)__SYSTEM__ShopperExperience-GetPagesIdV1(relevant for SCAPI based implementations)__SYSTEM__ShopperExperience-GetPagesV1(relevant for SCAPI based implementations)
Where: This feature applies to B2C Commerce.
How: In Business Manager, click App Launcher, and then select . Select Enable Page Caching and specify a Time to Live (TTL) of Page Designer Fingerprint setting. The default setting is 24 hours (86,400 seconds), but you can change this value.
