Review the new B2C Commerce Pricing and Promotions enhancements in the 20.1 release.

- **[Promotions Qualified by Child Categories No Longer Triggered by Configured Categories](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.b2c_20_1_w6812919_child_categories_dont_qualify_promotions_lb.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    When a promotion's qualifier uses the "is child of" operator for a configured category, the promotion is only triggered by child categories of that configured category. Previously, the promotion was also triggered by the configured category.
- **[Create SourceCodeGroup API Deletes Trailing White Space](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.b2c_19_11_w6765773_api_deletes_trailing_space_lb.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    The OCAPI Data API, Create SourceCodeGroup, now deletes trailing white space after the id parameter of a source code group.

    Merchants can use a category as a promotion qualifier. Previously, when a merchant attempted to specify a category as a qualifier, they received a blank popup.

    When a shopper adds an ad hoc coupon to a cart, "Invalid Coupon" no longer shows and the shopper can complete their purchase.
