# Page Designer Code No Longer Tries to Use Global Variable $A

The code that Page Designer injects into the storefront no longer tries to use the global variable `$A`. Previously, if the `$A` variable existed, the Page Designer code assumed it was part of the Aura UI framework and tried to access it.
