# Create Multiple User Accounts with Subaddressing

Use a single email inbox for multiple user accounts and assign specific roles based on the subaddress. Enhance security and simplify partner management by creating customer-specific subaddresses with limited roles, giving partners a single email inbox with distinct, traceable accounts for each customer relationship. You can also create separate user accounts for different functions, such as development, testing, and administration. Before setting up this feature, confirm that your email provider supports email subaddresses.

**Where:** This change applies to Account Manager for B2C Commerce.

**How:** When you enter the email address for a new user account, include a + sign and a unique string after the original, base username of the email address. For example, a partner account with a unique subaddress for a specific customer can follow the pattern: username+customer@partner.com. Assign roles to the subaddress account based on the access they need.
