As part of the Account Manager infrastructure upgrade, Salesforce is simplifying the Account Manager login screen flow. Updates include changes to the forgotten password link location, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) verification, and Salesforce Identity Management (SFIDM) redirect steps.
Where: This change applies to Account Manager for B2C Commerce.
These updates apply to the Account Manager login screen flow.
- The "Forgot Password?" link is now on the second login page, where the user enters their password. It was previously located on the first login page.
- When registering a new verifier during login for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), the user no longer has to perform an extra MFA verification.
- If identity federation is enforced for Salesforce Identity Management (SFIDM), the user is redirected to SFIDM before entering their password for the first time. An existing user no longer has to enter their My Domain name in SFIDM when linking their account. Previously, the user entered their password before being redirected to SFIDM. The old behavior still applies if identity federation is allowed.
