# Set A/B Test Preferences in B2C Commerce

A/B tests appear as enabled in the A/B testing module (if set to enabled), when these preferences are set to `False.`

1. In Business Manager click App Launcher ![App Launcher](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-cc-b2c_merchandiser_administrator-264-0-0-production-enus/ea76f372-6cfa-42a6-8e7c-05c6df7abed8/cc/b2c_merchandiser_administrator/images/appLauncher.png), and then select **Merchant Tools** | **site** | **SitePreferences** | **A/B Tests.**
2. Select the parameters as follows:
    1. Select the instance type. If you are on a Production instance, only `Production` is available.
        
        The instance type applies immediately, affecting other Business Manager modules with settings that are specific to a selected instance type.
    2. To enable the A/B test in the storefront, select **True**.
    3. To enable Salesforce B2C Commerce to collect A/B test statistics based on storefront events, select **True**. Disable this setting on the Staging instance if you want B2C Commerce to copy statistics from Production nightly and don't want these results.
    4. To enable both the Staging and Production instances to perform a nightly copy of A/B test statistics from Production to Staging, select **True**.
    5. To disable multiple participations in a single A/B test segment when participation expiration is set to `Never`, select **False**. Otherwise, it's possible that the same customer participates in multiple test segments, biasing the test results.
3. To return to the Site Preferences page, click **<< Back**.
