# Preview the Product Feed

Open the Product Feed Preview to verify your field mappings, identify B2C Commerce products with missing required fields, and download a sample CSV before turning on the daily feed sync.

Before you preview the feed, set up the integration for your site:

- Configure the Einstein catalog and order feeds. See [Configure Catalog and Order Feeds for Commerce Cloud Einstein Deployment](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_product_feed_configure_einstein.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Before you can use the OpenAI or Google catalog feed integration, configure Einstein catalog feeds. If your B2C Commerce site already uses Einstein features, you can skip this task.").
- Meet the prerequisites. See [Prerequisites for Product Feed Integration](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_product_feed_prerequisites.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Before configuring a product feed integration, ensure your B2C Commerce site meets the requirements. The channel partner supplies the SFTP credentials that you enter in Business Manager to connect.").
- Connect to the channel partner. See [Connect to the Channel Partner](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_product_feed_connect.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Configure the SFTP connection between B2C Commerce and your channel partner (OpenAI or Google) to allow product feed uploads.").
- Map your product fields. For the OpenAI feed, see [Map Product Fields for OpenAI](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_openai_feed_mapping.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Configure how B2C Commerce product attributes map to OpenAI feed fields using the field mapping interface."). For the Google feed, see [Map Product Fields for Google](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_google_feed_mapping.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Configure how B2C Commerce product attributes map to Google feed fields using the field mapping interface.").

For an explanation of how the preview works and what's excluded, see [About the Product Feed Preview](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_product_feed_preview_about.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "The Product Feed Preview shows you the resolved feed data, including missing required fields, before you turn on the daily feed sync. Use it to verify your field mappings, identify B2C Commerce products with errors, and download a sample CSV.").

1. Click App Launcher ![App Launcher](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-cc-b2c_merchandiser_administrator-264-0-0-production-enus/ea76f372-6cfa-42a6-8e7c-05c6df7abed8/cc/b2c_merchandiser_administrator/images/appLauncher.png), and then select **Merchant Tools** | **Site** | **AI & Social Integrations**, and then select your channel (**OpenAI** or **Google**).
2. Click **Catalog**.
3. In the **Field Mapping** section, click **Preview**.

The Product Field Mapping Preview opens. No products are shown until you search.
4. **Optional:** (Non-production environments only) If the preview reports that product URLs aren't visible, click **Enter Hostname**, type your storefront hostname, and click **Save**.

For example: `https://staging.example.com`. The hostname is used to construct the product URL column for each product. See [About the Product Feed Preview](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_product_feed_preview_about.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "The Product Feed Preview shows you the resolved feed data, including missing required fields, before you turn on the daily feed sync. Use it to verify your field mappings, identify B2C Commerce products with errors, and download a sample CSV.").
5. In the search field, type a product name or one or more product IDs.

The search field is an autocomplete, so you don't need to press Enter. B2C Commerce updates results as you type. The search supports two modes:

    - **By product name**: Substring match. Enter one product name at a time.
    - **By product ID**: Exact match. Enter up to 20 product IDs as a comma-separated list.

The preview shows the resolved feed values for each matching product, which are the same values that the daily feed sync sends to the channel partner. If no products match, the preview shows **No results** and lists the reasons that products can be excluded.
6. **Optional:** To see variants for a master product, click the master product row to expand it.

The preview shows up to 100 variants per master product.
7. **Optional:** To see field errors for a row, hover over the error icon at the start of the row.

B2C Commerce shows which required fields are missing or invalid for that product.
8. **Optional:** To download a CSV file of the data currently shown in the preview, click **Download Sample**.
9. **Optional:** To fix errors, go back to the Field Mapping section on the **Catalog** tab, configure the missing or invalid field, and then re-open the preview to verify the fix.

The preview shows the resolved feed values that the daily feed sync sends to the channel partner. After the preview shows no errors and the data matches your expectations, turn on the daily feed sync. For the OpenAI feed, see [Turn On the Product Feed for OpenAI](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_openai_feed_enable.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Turn on the daily sync to start generating and uploading your B2C Commerce product feed to OpenAI. Before you turn on the daily sync, rigorously review the default field mappings and make any overrides."). For the Google feed, see [Turn On the Product Feed for Google](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_google_feed_enable.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Turn on the daily sync to start generating and uploading your B2C Commerce product feed to Google. Before you turn on the daily sync, rigorously review the default field mappings and make any overrides.").

You can return to the preview at any time to verify changes. For example, verify the feed after adding a custom attribute, after changing a filter rule, or after a catalog update.
