# Configure Product Feed General Settings for OpenAI

On the General Settings tab, enter your SFTP credentials and the seller information that OpenAI requires to list your B2C Commerce products. Optionally, set global overrides for the price and image columns that apply to every row in your feed.

Before you configure General Settings, ensure that:

- [Your site meets the prerequisites](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_product_feed_prerequisites.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Before configuring a product feed integration, ensure your B2C Commerce site meets the requirements. The channel partner supplies the SFTP credentials that you enter in Business Manager to connect.")
- [Catalog and Order feeds are configured for Einstein](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_product_feed_configure_einstein.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Before you can use the OpenAI or Google catalog feed integration, configure Einstein catalog feeds. If your B2C Commerce site already uses Einstein features, you can skip this task.")
- You have the SFTP credentials that OpenAI provides.

The General Settings tab has two sections:

- **SFTP Configuration**: Enter the SFTP credentials that OpenAI provides. The system uses these credentials to upload your product feed to OpenAI.
- **Business Details**: Provide the seller information that OpenAI needs to list your products. You can also set global overrides for the price and image columns. Business Details values apply to every row in the feed.

Restriction SFTP credentials can be entered only on production instances, and the daily feed sync runs only on production. You can configure Business Details, field mappings, product filter rules, and the feed preview on any non-production instance—development, staging, or sandbox.

Note The OpenAI catalog feed integration supports English-language content only. Additional locales are coming soon.

1. Click App Launcher ![App Launcher](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-cc-b2c_merchandiser_administrator-264-0-0-production-enus/ea76f372-6cfa-42a6-8e7c-05c6df7abed8/cc/b2c_merchandiser_administrator/images/appLauncher.png), and then select **Merchant Tools** | **Site** | **AI & Social Integrations** | **OpenAI**.
2. Click the **General Settings** tab.
3. In the **SFTP Configuration** section, enter your SFTP credentials and click **Connect**.

For step-by-step details, including how to disconnect, see [Connect to the Channel Partner](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_product_feed_connect.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Configure the SFTP connection between B2C Commerce and your channel partner (OpenAI or Google) to allow product feed uploads.").
4. In the **Business Details** section, for **Seller Name**, enter your store or brand name as you want it shown to shoppers in ChatGPT.

The seller\_name field is required. The value appears on every row of your feed.
5. **Optional:** (Optional) For **List Price Book**, select a price book.

The selected price book overrides the price column in Field Mapping. The dropdown lists only price books that are active and contain prices in the feed currency. If you later deactivate the selected price book, reconfigure **List Price Book** to point at a different price book. If you don't select a price book, B2C Commerce derives the list price from the sale price book selected by the B2C Commerce price engine. See [List Price Derivation](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_openai_feed_default_mappings.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5).
6. **Optional:** (Optional) For **Image View Type**, select an image view type.

The selected image view type overrides the image\_url column in Field Mapping. If you don't select a view type, B2C Commerce uses the default mapping: large view, falling back to the first available view type.

Salesforce recommends that you select a specific view type. If your catalog doesn't include a "large" view type, the default fallback selects the first available view type, which can be unsuitable for ChatGPT (for example, a swatch view).

B2C Commerce saves your General Settings and applies them to every row in the product feed. Your seller information and any global overrides are visible in the Product Feed Preview and in the daily feed sync.

After you configure General Settings:

- [Map product fields for OpenAI](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_openai_feed_mapping.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Configure how B2C Commerce product attributes map to OpenAI feed fields using the field mapping interface.")
- [Configure product filter rules](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_product_feed_configure_product_filter.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Add include and exclude rules in the Product Filter rule builder to control which products from your B2C Commerce catalog sync to your product feed for OpenAI or Google.")
- [Preview the product feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_product_feed_preview.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Open the Product Feed Preview to verify your field mappings, identify B2C Commerce products with missing required fields, and download a sample CSV before turning on the daily feed sync.")
