# Modify Category Display Order for B2C Commerce

Modify the display order of the categories within the catalog to define the structure for products and navigation in the storefront.

Sort the categories and subcategories in a catalog to control the order in which they appear in the storefront navigation.

1. Click App Launcher ![App Launcher](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-cc-b2c_merchandiser_administrator-264-0-0-production-enus/ea76f372-6cfa-42a6-8e7c-05c6df7abed8/cc/b2c_merchandiser_administrator/images/appLauncher.png), and then select **Merchant Tools** | **Site** | **Products and Catalogs** | **Catalogs**.
2. On the Catalogs page, click a catalog ID.
3. On the Categories page, to change the order of the categories in the storefront, move a category:
    1. Check the box beside the category to move.
    2. Click an arrow in the Sorting column.
        
        The top arrow moves the currently selected category to be first. The bottom arrow moves it to be the last category. The second and third arrows move the category up and down one in the list.
4. To see the change take effect, open the storefront.
