# B2C Commerce Einstein Search Recommendations

B2C Commerce Einstein can improve searches with type-ahead guidance. This feature provides AI-driven personalized search recommendations to shoppers in real time.

Enabling Einstein Search Recommendations provides shoppers with Einstein-generated, personalized auto-correction and term completion.

Note Recent search and popular search functions aren’t directly affected when enabling the Einstein Search Recommendations feature. These searches require additional storefront development efforts. For more information, see the _getRecentSearchPhrases_ and _getPopularSearchPhrases_ method details in the [Class SuggestModel](https://salesforcecommercecloud.github.io/b2c-dev-doc/docs/current/scriptapi/html/index.html?target=class_dw_suggest_SuggestModel.html) API or the [Search Suggestions Shopper Commerce API (SCAPI) endpoint](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/commerce/commerce-api/references/shopper-search?meta=getSearchSuggestions) documentation.

To enable Einstein Search Recommendations:

1. In Business Manager, click App Launcher ![App Launcher](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-cc-b2c_merchandiser_administrator-264-0-0-production-enus/ea76f372-6cfa-42a6-8e7c-05c6df7abed8/cc/b2c_merchandiser_administrator/images/appLauncher.png), and then select**Merchant Tools** | **site** | **Search** | **Search Preferences**.
2. Select (check) **Einstein Search Recommendations**.

Note When Einstein Search Recommendations generate search phrase suggestions, the suggestions aren’t affected by the suggestion term blocklist. In addition, Einstein Search Recommendations aren’t guaranteed to yield results.
