# Add Product Categories with AI

Get category suggestions for products in your B2C Commerce product list. AI suggests categories based on your current catalog and the product data available.

1. In Business Manager, click the **App Launcher**, and then select **Merchant Tools** | **Site** | **Products and Catalogs** | **Product List**.
2. Select the base and simple products that you want category suggestions for.
    
    Variation products inherit their base product's category.
3. Click **AI Suggest**, and then select **Categories**.
4. Review the suggested categories, and make changes as needed.
5. Select the products that you want to save, and then click **Save**.
    
    You can also add categories on the dashboard. To see which products are missing categories and the corresponding AI suggestions, go to the **Products Without Categories** tile, and then click **View Details**.
