# Shopper Agent for B2C Commerce

The Shopper Agent for B2C Commerce provides conversational shopping experiences on your B2C Commerce storefronts.The agent uses Agentic Commerce Search to help shoppers discover products, and the Agentforce Commerce Client to deliver real-time, chat-based conversations between the agent and your shoppers.

Before you create a Shopper Agent, set up [Agentic Commerce Search](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_acs_overview.htm&language=en_US). This feature powers product discovery actions, including search and product questions. Cart and checkout capabilities don't require Agentic Commerce Search.
