# Activate a Payment Method for B2C Commerce

Activate the payment methods you want to offer shoppers in your Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA), Composable Storefront, or Storefront Next site. Offer Checkout, Express Checkout, or both.

1. In Business Manager, click App Launcher ![App Launcher](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-cc-b2c_merchandiser_administrator-264-0-0-production-enus/ea76f372-6cfa-42a6-8e7c-05c6df7abed8/cc/b2c_merchandiser_administrator/images/appLauncher.png), and then select **Merchant Tools** | **Site** | **Ordering** | **Salesforce Payments**.
2. Click **Configure** and select the payment methods you want to offer.
    
    Select Checkout, Express Checkout, or both. Before activating Express Checkout, see [Express Checkout Considerations for B2C Commerce](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_express_checkout_considerations.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Although Express Checkout is often faster and easier to use than the Checkout payment method, features such as coupons, gift wrapping, shopper product customization, and gift card redemption aren’t always a good fit for Express Checkout.").

3. Click **Next**.
    
    If you activate Express Checkout, B2C Commerce enables the credit card payment method for Express Checkout transactions. Many Express Checkout payment methods, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, use credit cards. Enabling Express Checkout has no effect on the methods enabled for Checkout.
4. Click **Activate**.
