# Set a Default Time Range for Individual Tableau Next Metrics

You can change the time range analyzed for a Tableau Next metric that you follow by setting a default time range. After setting a default time range, the metric uses that time range everywhere you see metrics that you follow—on your Following page and on mobile.

### Required Editions

1. Choose a metric from your **Following** page.
2. From **Time Range**, select a time range.
3. Click **Done**.
4. Click **Set Default**.
