# View Notifications About Metrics

When a coworker adds or removes you as a follower of a metric, Tableau Next notifies you with the bell icon in the header of the Tableau Next window.

1. When you receive a notification, a red circle appears on the bell icon in the Tableau Next header. Click the bell to open the notifications menu.
    
    The notification menu identifies the metric and the add or remove action that was taken.
2. To go to the metric, click the notification text in the menu.
