To use data alerts, your Salesforce admin must enable **Tableau Agent: Data Alerting**. For more information, see [Enable the Data Analysis and Data Alert Management Topics for Tableau Next](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=analytics.tua_metric_data_alerts_enable.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Add the Data Analysis and Data Alert Management subagents, so Agentforce can analyze Tableau Next metrics and semantic data models (SDMs) and send you alerts about them.").

1. To manage your alerts sent by Agentforce or Tableau Next MCP, select **Manage Data Alerts** from the Tableau Next Following page. Or open a metric and click **Manage Alerts** to see scheduled alerts created for that specific metric.
2. For metric alerts, you can change the schedule for your alert or edit the value that triggers the alert from the **Manage Alerts** window. For alerts created with Agentforce or Tableau Next MCP, use natural language to tell the agent how you want to change the alert.
3. Select **Run Alert** to check the conditions of a data alert at any time.
4. To delete an alert, click the dropdown arrow next to your alert’s name, and select **Delete**.

If the alert was created by Agentforce or Tableau Next MCP, reply in natural language and specify how you want the alert changed. Or ask Agentforce or Tableau Next MCP to stop sending that type of alert.

To see the configuration of your alert, click **Debug** from the **Manage Alerts** window.
