# Add a Personalized View of Metrics That a User Follows with the Tableau Next Following Component

See Tableau Next metrics that you follow directly in Salesforce Lightning pages, and view data insights at a glance without switching context. When an admin adds the Tableau Next following component into a Lightning page, users see a personalized view of the Tableau Next metrics that they follow. Admins can also add suggested Tableau Next metrics that they think users might also want to follow.

1. On the Lightning home or record page that you want to embed the following component in, click the Setup icon (gear).
2. Select **Edit Page**.
3. If you have multiple page layouts, open the Lightning App Builder in Setup to see the list of page layouts. Click Edit for the page layout you want to update.
4. From the Lightning App builder component palette, search for the **Tableau Next Following** component.
5. Click and drag the Tableau Next Following component where you want it to appear on the page. Or select where on the page you want to insert the component, and then choose the Tableau Next Following component.
6. Optionally, you can configure the size and other settings for the component properties panel.
7. Also optionally, add suggested metrics by selecting **Add Metric**. Or add filters by selecting **Add Filter**.

After you embed your component, save and activate your Lightning page. For more information on page activation, see [Activate Lightning Experience Record Pages](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.lightning_app_builder_customize_lex_pages_activate.htm&language=en_US). When users open the Lightning page, they see the metrics that they follow. And they see suggested metrics under the **Suggested for you** tab, if you added them.
