# Connect to EnterpriseDB (Beta)

Bring your EnterpriseDB data into Tableau Next with the EnterpriseDB connector.

1. In a Tableau Next workspace, click **Add**.
2. Select Data, and then select **From Connector**.
3. Locate and select the EnterpriseDB connector.
4. Configure the connection details, and then click **Sign In**.

All settings require a value, unless otherwise indicated.

| Connection Name | Enter a name for the connection. |
| Server | Enter the server address. |
| Port | Enter the port number. |
| Database | Enter the database name. |
| Username | Enter the database username. |
| Password | Enter the password for the account. |
| Use SSL | Set to **TRUE** to ensure a secure connection. |
