# Expand Dashboard Widgets to See a Larger Version in Lightning Experience

Sometimes a chart or table is just a little too small. Open it in a window so you can see all the details.

### Required Editions

1. Open a dashboard.
2. Hover over a widget and click **![Expand widget icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-analytics-analytics-264-0-0-production-enus/295fead5-b71d-4e1c-9886-4af4d53400b6/analytics/images/rd/rd_button_expand.png)**.

A larger version of the dashboard widget overlays the dashboard. Optionally, click the left and right arrows to cycle through expanded versions of the dashboard’s widget.
